Recycling for BMW vehicle parts
HEARTENING news for the environmentally-conscious driver. BMW has made a pledge towards the preservation of our environment by introducing a new waste treatment and recycling plan for parts and by products from the BMW dealer network.
This way, materials from the repair and service divisions will be treated or recycled free-of-charge by means of a regional logistics network.
Committed service and recycling partners are selected to guarantee recycling and treatment.
The recycling covers practically all environmentally relevant materials from the BMW dealer network, used parts and liquids,
Various pilot projects have been running since 1992 for BMW to gain experience for the project.
The BMW dealers organisation will now gather the by-products and send a collection request to a systems head office.
Recycling specialists then take over to treat or recycle the parts.
